Sony Pictures Imageworks’ Pete Travers talks “wonderfood” VFX in Cloudy 2
Article:
Many of seeing the motion picture by Sony "cloudy with a chance of meatballs". Personally I've never got around to see. By seen many trailers for it and reading this article I now see the beautiful artwork and visual Sfx that Pete Travers one of the special-effects supervisors who helped bring life to those important creatures that make the movie what it is. Pete goes on to say within the article that a lot of the work centered around resurrecting as much data as they could come up with from the first film and altering it as little as possible to make the second film. "And also that creating the design for the food animals was seemingly simplistic looking but the mechanics underneath were often times more complex" he goes on to say within the article.
Opinions:
Personally I like the first movie and I really think that the second movie is one of few sequels that really outdo themselves.
In my opinion sequels really don't do it for me but this one looks like they did a great job could be even better than the first.
Question:
I wonder if this is Sony's big chance to really stick it to Disney and Warner Bros. pictures?
